I have decided to move my blog to Blogspot, I’ve been getting so annoyed recently when I’ve been putting pictures into my blogs so some times I’ve just skipped making the blog all together, not good!

What is it with boys and taking advantage of their strength?
Let’s face it, in a battle against Adam I don’t have a fighting chance 99% of the time. Sometimes we’ll be watching TV and he looks at me and says really slowly and calmly “I’m gonna hold you and lick your face” at that point I know I’m screwed! nothing I’ll be able to do, trust me I’ve tried everything. Only times I’m even slightly winning the fight is when I somehow manage to bite him and he let’s go, but then that’s only for 10 sec because then he’s back to torturing me again! After he’s gotten me completely disgusted with saliva he’ll say something like “well, you think its adorable when dogs do it; I just wanted some attention” WAY TO GO!
Once I dipped my hand in a pool and lightly sprinkled some water on him and before I could even blink I was in the pool in all my clothes, soaked. Not only that, but Adam went in there with me, ONLY to make sure I didn’t manage to save my hair from getting wet. he’s literally willing to punish himself as long as he knows he’ll be getting even with me.
I’ve been completely covered with mayonnaise along with our bathroom because I put a drop of ketchup on him!
I even have photo proof of this abuse;
Last christmas we were baking and I put this tiny smudge on adams face….
…and this is what happened to me, NOT FAIR!
He’s used to being like this to his sister and now that she’s not here he just takes it all out on me, I actually admire her for having grown up with him, can’t have been easy!
I’m just one tiny person, can’t take this much sitting on by a 80 kg guy or getting tickled non stop for half an hour. Specially with the development of our “fights”; in the beginning it was so much more innocent, now we’re throwing each other on the floor, pulling hair, fishhooking and nipple twists… with it continuing like this I wouldn’t be surprised one of us ends up dead. Hey, at least there’s exercise in it, screw that gym card I’ll get my abs by laughing.

Great weekend !
First off Adam & I went to take a little road trip together, I’ll post the pictures from it as soon as WordPress stops giving me a hard time. Amazing how worked up I can get when something with technology stops working, I can lose my temper completely within 10 minutes !
In the night I got a call from some girls at work asking me to go to a bonfire, so after having spent 45 minutes looking for the car keys (because Adam lost them) I finally went there. Really cozy, sitting outside in the middle of nowhere with a bonfire and a million stars above you.

The way up to the camping site was really dodgy and at times I thought our little pink lightning wouldn’t make it, but when I finally got there it was all so nice, beers, timtams and just talking until we were about to pass out. Even going to the toilet was an experience, they literally had a toilet and toilet paper hanger just in the middle of nowhere and to flush you would have to take a bucket and fill it with water from some river and pour that in the tank to flush haha!
Later in the night when I came home my darling had used his free time well and cleaned the apartment, haha how lucky am I?

Last summer Sofia & I spent some days in Berlin as a part of our backpacking trough Europe. One day we were taking the train down to the “center” if anything can actually be called the center of Berlin that is..
On the train we saw so many out-of-the-ordinary people, to put it in a nice way, and for that half an hour it took us to get to the center we could not figure out what the hell was happening in the world just overnight! When we stepped out of the train station this is what met us;

I love everything about gaypride, I really do. How many diverse people come together in one place is amazing and on top of that everyone is insanely happy!
The happiness just shines from everyone, you can even see it with the ones that aren’t quite expressing themselves as much and are blending more into the crowd.
Gay or not, you can’t help but feel extremely happy around so many joyfully glowing people!
I’m proud to be from a country with so little discrimination against homosexuals as Iceland and sincerely hope that others against it will take their heads out of their asses and wake up.fast. hahaha!

Today I had my first attempt in feeding my little darlings!
Penguins are so easily stressed that any tiny change in their environment, such as a new person feeding them will make them nervous and even lead to hyperventilation… adorable right?!
At first I guess the curiosity took over since as I went on their side of the fence they were waddling around me like crazy, then of course they had to realize that I’m a stranger so they took off… two of them however, stayed, Aaron and Maddy if I remember correctly (Im still getting a hang of knowing one penguin from another) they tried to eat from me but were to tense so they never stayed for long enough to get a good grip and swallow the fish 😦
Obviously I’ll have to go in there every time I’m working to make them get used to me and hope that soon they will accept me and let me feed them. They better not take too much time because my life won’t be complete until I get loved by a penguin, that’s for sure.

well, hello there
We recently had a brake-up in the center, Nellie broke up with charlie and moved in with Aaron, now charlie spends everyday outside their burrow waiting for her to come back, heartbreaking to see him there!
In this picture you can see how tiny they are in comparison to the legs; when they’re full sized they are 30 cm and only 1,2 kg!

Once, a visitor at the Center dropped a bottle cap over the fence, a little penguin ran towards it and put it in its mouth, then she took it back to her burrow and she and her boyfriend would take turns sitting on the cap waiting for it to clutch
the rest of the workday I spent with a little bearded dragon on my shirt and we had a little photo shoot together!

aaah!! well now I have a backup plan if Adam gets tired of me,
If only you could have penguins as pets, then I’d grow old alone in my house filled with penguins and everyone would know me as crazy penguin-lady…. My head is just so full of penguin knowledge I think if I wouldn’t be talking about them endlessly at the penguin center I’d burst!
The penguins that we have at the Rehabilitation Center are so happy there, a few years ago there was a break in at the center and two penguins were stolen, the penguin-nappers however decided to let the penguins go and a few days later when a volunteer was coming to work the two penguins were just waiting outside the entrance waiting to be let back in.
Its wonderful being a part of keeping them safe, when I get rich I’m gonna give them a lot of money to get in more penguins and start a breeding program (now we are sadly not allowed to breed)
well, enough about penguins for now! hahaha next time I’m gonna take some pictures when Im inside with the penguins

Today was way too long, insanely busy and a really boring day at work.
I hate when you pass the whole day at work, seeing the great weather outside, then go home and do nothing until the day is over… So today after I finished my shift I decided to go down to the beach and watch the sun go down, best decision I made today until I decided to have pizza for dinner! considering that we live less than 10 minutes from the beach walking I should really go there more often

Something so small can make a big difference from the dullness of the everyday life, don’t get stuck in a rot!
Next I really want to go somewhere and see the sun come up, but I can’t really picture that happening anytime soon since I’d actually have to get out of bed real early, maybe if I stay up the whole night… hmmm hahaha
